B. Douglas Bernheim and George A. Rozanski speak at the 60th ABA Antitrust Law Spring Meeting
Dr. Bernheim, who is also Edward Ames Edmunds Professor of Economics at Stanford University, will serve as a panelist in a session titled “Forging Expert Testimony to Prevail” on Wednesday, March 28 at 10:45 am. He will share lessons learned from his many years of experience of preparing for and serving as an expert witness.
Dr. Rozanski will serve as an economic expert during the mock trial on Thursday, March 29 at 1:30 pm. The trial will focus on the damages portion of a bifurcated Sherman Act case in which the plaintiff has prevailed on liability. This will be Dr. Rozanski’s second year participating in the Spring Meeting; last year, he served on a panel discussing competition policy issues in the agricultural sector.
“With Bernheim’s deep contributions in academia and as an economic expert and Rozanski’s extensive experience and numerous accomplishments from his nearly 20 years with the Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice, both will provide valuable insights to enrich their session discussions,” says Managing Partner David DeRamus. “We are pleased to have this opportunity to showcase the expertise of two of our leading economic thinkers,” says DeRamus.
