Consultant

Description

Full-time Consultants have the opportunity to make an impact from day one. They work in small, dynamic teams on high-profile engagements. These teams typically consist of four to eight Consultants led by a Manager and a Partner. Consultants contribute to all aspects of client deliverables. They rotate through multiple practice areas and interact with senior attorneys, business leaders, and renowned academics. Consultants are responsible for financial, legal, and statistical research and analysis; database design and development; and client report preparation.

For Consultants, Bates White is not a two-year program; it’s a career path. Because we give our Consultants real responsibility and hands-on experience, many of them go on to the most prestigious graduate schools or remain with the firm and move into higher-level positions.

Desired skills

We seek individuals who are motivated by intellectually stimulating work, who possess an outstanding academic record, and who exude strong leadership skills. An aptitude for numbers is highly valued.

We also require applicants to possess creativity, independence, self-confidence, and tenacity.

Educational requirements

An undergraduate degree is required. Undergraduate-level training in accounting, computer science, economics, engineering, finance, mathematics, physics, or statistics is helpful but not necessary.
