Bates White is a firm that truly invests in its people. After teaching for a number of years at Vanderbilt, I joined Bates White as a Manager. The firm gave me freedom and latitude to pursue new ideas and business offerings. From my first case where I received support to develop a framework that addresses insurance coverage issues to encouragement in creating an insurance allocation tool, Bates White has always been willing to listen to my ideas and make investments—both in my career development and in our offerings to the market.

As I progressed from a Manager to a Principal, and now as a Partner, the leaders of the firm provided opportunities for me to contribute to high profile engagements, manage client relationships, gain testifying experience, and explore new areas of business. Today, I enjoy mentoring other employees as we look to develop new leaders, service offerings, and avenues for growth.
